NON-COMBUSTIBLE
PROJECT SCOPE
Insulated aluminium rainscreen overcladding and replacement windows. Additional works included structural steelwork to form a new lift area and curtain walling. A key feature of this project was extensive value engineering from the originally conceived design inorder to deliver an affordable solution to the University. This was achieved whilst concurrently reinforcing the contemporary brand image originating from earlier adjacent refurbishment projects undertaken by d+b facades at the campus.
CLIENT TESTIMONIAL
“d+b facades has undertaken extensive over cladding projects for Liverpool John Moores University at Byrom Street within the City Campus. Throughout these projects the campus has remained occupied and fully operational with no loss of teaching days. LJMU have always found d+b facades to be very customer-focused and collaborative in their approach.
On this particular project they worked closely with the entire client team exploring many different options for the building and undertaking detailed value engineering in order to arrive at an affordable solution for the University. LJMU are delighted with the result”.
