The Hackitt report concludes that a ‘stakeholder’ must be identified who is singularly responsible.
The report was deliberately non-prescriptive to ensure the ‘stakeholder’ owns and is culpable for the decisions he takes. It very sensibly left the ‘how’ to industry experts.
The ‘how’ is very simple.
Done correctly the ‘how’ will accelerate construction programs, remove cost layers, deliver the best value and the singularly responsible Hackitt stakeholder. This ‘how’ is not a theoretical or new process.
Pockets of the industry have been implementing the ‘how’ and getting cladding right for over 30 years.
All the industry has to do is copy and implement.
